What the limits mean
Two ceilings that matter for shared memory
Your plan sets how many people can join your workspace and how many memories it can hold. Usage meters on your billing screen read the live counts.
- Team members — Starter fits up to 5, Pro up to 15, and Enterprise is unlimited. Everyone shares the same governed memory; roles decide who can publish and who proposes.
- Memories — Starter holds up to 200 published memories, Pro up to 1,000, and Enterprise is unlimited. Only published memories count toward the limit — pending proposals and deleted memories never do.
Pricing questions
What counts as a memory?
Only published memories count toward your plan's limit — the ones live in your shared graph. A pending proposal (a Basic user's queued create, whether they typed it or their agent wrote it over MCP) doesn't count until it's approved, and deleted or archived memories never count.
What happens when I hit the memory limit?
Nothing breaks. Estratos declines to publish the next new memory with a clear, friendly message — in the app and through MCP alike — and points you to upgrade. Your existing memories are untouched: you can still read, edit, roll back, and export everything. Only net-new publishing pauses until you upgrade or free up room.
Can I export everything?
Yes, always. Generate a ZIP of any scope you can access — everything, a single subtree, or tagged memories only — with front-matter on every file recording its id, kind, title, key, path or layer, and version. Your memory is yours to keep or migrate.
How do agents connect?
Estratos is a standard remote MCP server. Install it from the plugin marketplace or add the endpoint URL by hand; either way the client discovers the OAuth server, registers itself, and completes the authorization-code flow with PKCE — no client ID or API key in the config. Any MCP client works: Claude, Codex, Copilot, Cursor, and more.
Is my data isolated from other organizations?
Yes. Every tenant-owned table enforces PostgreSQL row-level security, so cross-organization reads and writes fail even against raw SQL — not just in application code. Tokens are scoped to one organization and one resource.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Signup starts a 14-day free trial with full entitlements and no card. Add billing through Stripe Checkout when you're ready to activate a paid plan; cancel anytime before then.
