Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how WLS Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15609221, whose registered office is at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA (“we”, “us”, “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on the Estratos website (estratos.ai) and platform (together, the “Estratos Platform”).

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give website owners information about how visitors use their site.

Cookies may be “session cookies” (which are deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies on the Estratos Platform for the following purposes:

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Estratos Platform to function properly. They enable core functionality such as:

  • User authentication and maintaining your logged-in session
  • Security features to protect your account
  • Remembering your preferences and settings
  • Load balancing to ensure platform performance

Without these cookies, services you have requested cannot be provided. These cookies do not require your consent. The Estratos Platform does not set marketing or advertising cookies.

2.2 Performance and Analytics

We use PostHog, a product analytics platform hosted in the European Union, to understand how visitors and authenticated users interact with the Estratos Platform. PostHog is configured with memory-only persistence on the client side, meaning no analytics cookies are set on your device. The data collected helps us improve the platform’s performance and user experience. PostHog collects:

  • Page views and navigation patterns (both marketing pages and the authenticated application)
  • Click events and user interactions
  • Browser type, device characteristics, and operating system
  • Approximate geographic location (derived from IP address)

When you are logged in, PostHog associates your activity with your user profile (email and name) to provide personalised analytics. On public pages, PostHog operates in cookieless mode where each visit is treated as a new anonymous session.

We also capture server-side product analytics events (such as account creation, memory activity, and subscription changes) to understand how the platform is used and to improve our service.

2.3 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, such as:

  • Remembering your display preferences
  • Storing your language preferences
  • Remembering form information you have entered

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on the Estratos Platform are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control the use of these cookies. The third parties that may set cookies on the Estratos Platform include:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to process subscription payments securely
  • Infrastructure and security providers (e.g., Cloudflare) to ensure platform reliability, bot protection, and security

Our analytics provider, PostHog, is configured in cookieless mode and does not set cookies (see paragraph 2.2). We recommend reviewing the privacy and cookie policies of these third parties for more information about their use of cookies.

4. Managing Cookies

4.1 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually find these settings in the “Options” or “Preferences” menu of your browser. You can:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete some or all cookies
  • Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
  • Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set

Please note that if you block or delete cookies, some features of the Estratos Platform may not function properly, and you may need to re-enter information each time you visit.

4.2 Opting Out of Analytics

PostHog is configured in cookieless mode and respects your browser’s Do Not Track (DNT) setting. If you enable Do Not Track in your browser, PostHog will not collect analytics data from your visits. No additional browser extensions or opt-out tools are required.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information on our cookie practices.

The date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last updated.
